The VALLEY OF PEACE is a retreat and conference facility that ISACC, together with its partners, acquired to be used as a training center for the Asian School of Development and Cross-cultural Studies (ASDECS), a capacity-building training consortium for those engaged in development and other forms of holistic missions. Situated in the island of Puerto Galera, Mindoro, it is envisioned to serve as a live-in training facility for development workers and tent-making missionaries seeking to serve in culturally-sensitive ways in various parts of Asia.

Puerto Galera is a tourist place that has attracted a fairly large community of multi-cultural residents. As such it presents opportunities for cross-cultural interaction as well as engagement with the social problems attendant to a tourist place. Its cultural and social environment is an ideal context for people training in development work and cross-cultural mission.
